The Baradero story…

Following his exit from Ward Solutions in 2005, Paul Ward established Baradero as a vehicle for strategic technology-related projects. 

One of the most interesting and successful initial projects was the design and implementation of an algorithmic trading system to create, simulate and optimise a portfolio of sophisticated trading strategies, for use on US futures markets. This system allowed Paul to trade successfully for many years.

Other significant projects included Paul’s work with Bionic, which involved his designing and delivering a market-leading optimisation platform for the programmatic management of Facebook advertising campaigns. This system delivered an immediate 30%+ improvement in the Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), and continues to do so.
